Recovery Planning for Schools and Institutions of Higher Education in the Immediate Aftermath of a Significant or Federally Declared Natural Disaster

This fact sheet outlines information and resources to support schools and institutions of higher education (IHEs) in their recovery planning efforts in the immediate aftermath of a community-wide disaster. Specifically, this fact sheet explores how schools and IHEs can use the National Disaster Recovery Framework's whole community approach to better support students and families throughout the recovery continuum while also providing key information to support the overall community recovery after a federally declared natural disaster.
