Ohio Homeland Security will be hosting a Public Safety Symposium August 2-4, 2022 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This conference runs concurrently with the 2022 Ohio School Safety Summit hosted by the Ohio School Safety Center and the State Fair. Sessions will include presentations and trainings related to trending public safety topics, best practices, success stories, trends, and research. The target audience for this event includes public safety stakeholders such as first responders (LE, EMS, Fire, Private Security), emergency management, state/federal/local government and community providers. Topics may include but are not limited to cyber safety, drug trends, community threat assessment, grant funding for first responders, emergency management, private security resources and training, federal/state/local resources and supports, violent crimes, and first responder recruitment and wellness. This event is free and open to the public but requires registration to get your name badge.
